Johnny Seckington opened the doors in 2009. Today there are two salons, more than thirty stylists and an academy that trains every one of them. Some things have not changed. You are seen on time, you are listened to, and you leave with hair that still looks right a month later.

Every service, done properly.

Cutting, colour and barbering are the heart of it. Everything is priced by the time it takes, so you only ever pay for the chair time your hair needs.

One

A proper consultation.

Fifteen minutes to talk through what you want, what your hair can take and how long it will need. Free, in the salon or on FaceTime.

Two

A patch test, 48 hours before.

Every new colour client, every time. It takes a minute and it is the reason we can colour with confidence.

Three

Painted by hand, toned to finish.

Balayage, babylights, foils or a full change. Our colourists work freehand and finish every colour with a toner made for you.

Four

Colour that grows out well.

We plan for week ten, not just the day. You leave knowing when to come back and what to use at home.

One appointment

Ten weeks of regrowth. One afternoon.

Brassy lengths and a hard line at the root, lifted into a soft, blended balayage with a cool honey tone. Two and a half hours with a Senior Designer, and colour that grows out without a line.

      Our academy runs on Mondays in Northampton. Apprentices train on the salon floor from day one, and every level above is earned, not given. It is why the standard is the same whoever you book.
